When you sign up for the Lumin waitlist, we collect:

  • Email address only

We do not collect:

  • Name

  • IP address

  • Location data

  • Timestamps or referral sources

We also do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to collect additional data on the waitlist form.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your email address is used solely for the purpose of onboarding communications related to Lumin, such as:

  • Providing updates regarding your waitlist status

  • Notifying you when the product becomes available

We do not use your data for general marketing, newsletters, or share it with third parties.

3. Where and How Your Data is Stored

  • Waitlist submissions trigger an internal email to the Lumin team and are stored in secured internal inboxes.

  • Data is encrypted at rest and in transit:

    • In transit: HTTPS (TLS 1.2/1.3)

    • At rest: AES-256 encryption

4. Who Has Access to Your Data

Access to your personal data is restricted to members of the Lumin team who require it for onboarding purposes. Internal access is protected through:

  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA)

  • Role-based access controls

  • The principle of least privilege

  • Encryption (in transit and at rest)

  • Firewalls and network isolation

We use cookies only for authentication sessions of logged-in users. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics on the waitlist form.

We retain your waitlist information for up to three (3) years from the date of collection, after which it will be securely deleted, unless you request removal earlier.

  • Request a copy of the data we hold about you

  • Request deletion of your personal data

  • Withdraw from the waitlist at any time
